PDP to occupy Ifeanyi Ubah’s seat After Court reaffirms his sack

The Peoples Democratic Party is set to occupy Ifeanyi Uba’s seat at the senate following a High Court ruling in the Federal Capital Territory which reaffirmed its earlier order sacking him as the senator representing Anambra South.

The judge, Justice Bello Kawu, in a ruling, declined the request of the Young Progressives Party Candidate which prayed the court to set aside its earlier order directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return issued him and issue a fresh one to Obinna Uzoh of the Peoples Democratic Party, who came second at the election

The judge had sacked Ubah for allegedly submitting a forged National Examination Council certificate to contest the February 23, 2019, senatorial election.
