President Tinubu has arrived in Niger State to launch the mechanized agricultural initiative. The agenda includes the unveiling of the Minna International Airport, now renamed as Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna by Governor Umar Bago.
The airport, originally inaugurated by former military Head of State Ibrahim Babangida in 1990, has been renovated by Bago to include a fully equipped Domestic Terminal.
The project also encompasses an agro-processing zone spread over 2,000 hectares, with 1,000 hectares allocated for drip irrigation and greenhouses and another 1,000 hectares designated for dairy product processing.
