14 LASTMA Officers Docked for Fraud

Fourteen LASTMA employees, including eleven senior and three junior officers, face disciplinary action for engaging in bribery and misconduct towards drivers in Lagos. The agency’s Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed the investigation, which will be conducted by the Personnel Management Board Discipline, following public service protocols.

General Manager Bolaji Oreagba emphasized the agency’s commitment to discipline and urged residents to report misconduct with evidence. He reminded both officers and drivers to adhere to the rules, emphasizing that offering bribes is illegal and punishable by law.
