Price of petrol now N212.16 – PPPRA

The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has announced that the price of petrol has reached N212.61 per litre.

According to a new monthly template released by the PPPRA in the early hours of Friday, petrol is expected to sell at a lower retail price of N209.61 and at an upper retail price of N212.61.

The template shows the expected ex-depot price is N206.42, while the landing cost is N189.61.

This development is coming despite assurances from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation that petrol price would not be increased in the month of March.

However, in a tweet this morning NNPC debunked news of the increment, and the template has been deleted from the website of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency.
