The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) at the legislative elections held on 12 April 2003, won 1.4% of popular votes and 2 of 360 seats in the House of Representatives of Nigeria and no seats in the Senate. The party has since grown stronger over the years with 1 Seat in the Senate, 4 Seats in the House of Representatives and 1 Governorship Seat. The party is one of the strongest in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.
