2018 marked Nigeria and India’s 60 years of diplomatic ties since 1958. The bilateral relations between the two Countries have considerably expanded in recent years with both nations building strategic and commercial ties. India has trained about 8000 African nationals since 2015, with more than 500 Nigerian officials benefiting from the training opportunities.
